In a nutshell...
Never heard of the above...sounds a bit too good to be true, particularly when TalkTalk are involved.
Anybody been through this process before?
She has already spoken with BT who cover the area and their rep was aware of this procedure.
Cheers
- My Mum is currently with TalkTalk and moving house in next couple of weeks to an area which is not covered by TalkTalk.
- She still has 10 months (£400) to run on her TalkTalk contract.
- After about 2 hours on the phone being passed from pillar to post she has been advised that she needs to pay the termination fee (£400) and that because TalkTalk do not cover the area she is moving to she will then be given a £400 credit that can be redeemed with an ISP which does cover the area...they refer to this as an unsolicited contract.
