Talktalk Gfast questions

Hi, I'm very close to switching my broadband to UnchainedISP https://clients.unchainedisp.net/cart.php?gid=25

As I've not heard of them before I did some digging and it seems they use Talktalk as their provider.

So off to Talktalk I go and price up their offerings and find it's a lot cheaper.

It's too late to ring them now, but perhaps someone here might know;

1. What is Talktalk like these days? I've always known them as unreliable, poor service, and worse customer service. Have they changed?

2. Do they offer a static IP?

3. Do I have to use their supplied hub? Or can I use my own?

The actual quality of the line from one provider to another is largely indifferent (with some exceptions). TT are meant to be decent but their Customer Service still leaves a lot to be desired.

2. Do they offer a static IP?

I highly doubt it.

3. Do I have to use their supplied hub? Or can I use my own?

You can use your own but you will require a VDSL modem with G.Fast support.
