Has anyone else got one of these and if so have you noticed an issue where your devices stay connected via wireless but just stop working for a few minutes here and there. The internet connection never drops, and the talktalk router stats just show a huge amount of errors on the 5Ghz band. It's happening a lot to my wife's iphone 6 and my 6+. Just got off the phone with Talktalk technical support and they have "boosted my wireless signal" apparently, although I'm highly doubtful they did anything, how could I check?

If you go into the router settings (192.168.1.1) and login you should be able to access the maintenance menu where the system information details are. This should list the transmit power however to see if it had increased you would need to know what this was transmitting at before. To be honest I doubt they did anything to the router regarding transmit power. I had the same router and had similar issues with my Nexus 4. The router then started dropping connections over both 5GHz/2.4GHz and ethernet so I sent off to TalkTalk for a new HG633 which appears to have ressolved all the issues.
