Talktalk router problem

Hi folks.

I broke the works' internet yesterday, seemingly by installing a wireless range booster.
It all worked perfectly for 20 minutes or so, then dropped the signal.
The router (a Thomson TG585v7) had apparently restarted itself, and refused to connect to the internet, despite having a full bank of green lights and the router claiming it had an internet connection.
Did a factory reset, now just getting the Talktalk Business "Please wait while your router is configured" message in the web browser. "This may take about five minutes." - two hours so far and no joy.

Gonna call TT this morning, but anyone encountered similar?
Annoying, because I followed the instructions to the letter and don't think I did anything wrong- and now I'm getting it in the neck from the boss!

Any ideas gratefully received...

Is the TT router working if you plug a network cable in it - bypassing wireless? Basically has it lost the ADSL connection, or is it the wireless that's fubar?
Also is the new piece of kit which 'caused' this problem powered off and removed?

Yes, the booster is removed.
According to the router, it has ADSL connection, and internet connectivity test yields a full bank of green ticks in the router's setup menu.

Try to access the internet from any device, and you get 'no network access'...
Nothing is wired at present, all wireless. I'll try a wired connection today.

Just hoping it's sorted itself out overnight- can't stick the boss ragging at me again today!

EDIT wireless devices are connecting to the router as before...

UPDATE

Sorted!
My phone wasn't offering up the correct pop-up config windows.
Hacked a wired connection into it and got a result!

Cheers Skyripper, thanks for giving it some thought.

Another lesson learnt!:D:D:D
