Tamron 24-70 VC

Looking at getting the Tamron 24-70mm f2.8 Di VC.

This will go on my Nikon D7100.

Unfortunatley i can't afford the Nikon version.

Has anyone had any experience with this lens

The one you got was faulty. Overall what was the build quality like?

I have another Tamron lens which performs v well.

well i work in IT so the owner of the business i work for managed to order one for me.
only downside is i won't get it for at least 5-7 days so i'm just itching to get it and take some pics with my new D7100.

Got my lens today, it came early.
Took a few test shots and so far pretty impressed.
