Tank bags - scratching?

Hi,

I'm looking to get a tank bag for Scotland next year, probably just a small one for a drink, wallet, phone, map, so nothing more than 10L

I found the tanklock ones, but that would mean I would never be able to 'quickly' use it (requires a flange thing attached to the filler cap which would be attached the whole time through Scotland of course, but then when I come to use it for something else, it'll be a pain to put the flange back on).

So my question is: what's the scratching risk like with a normal magnetic tank bag? Over a few thousand miles I would have thought there would be some rubbing / scratching?

Thanks.

Hmmm maybe, but then that stuff gets nasty eventually doesn't it? With dirt slowly creeping under it (that's my experience of it anyway). If the tape is noticeable, I may as well get the tanklock one tbh.

Thinking about it, I don't think I'd actually use it unless I'm riding somewhere over a few days, so maybe I won't risk magnetic. Hmmmm

checkthe kriega tank option for fitting thier us packs to tanks

Yeah I was considering that as I have a 10L I could put on there, but I like the convenience of the pockets/pouches on a normal tank bag, which the Kriega wouldn't really provide as most of their range are just roll bags.
