Tap in the bathroom suddenly won't turn off so presumably a seal or something.

Is it worth doing myself (if it's just a seal) as it's a case of undoing the tap?

Or is it best to get the plumber round?

ta.

that would probably have been the washer sticking before moving to close/open, rather than moving smoothly :) (although our kitchen tap had that problem when the valve part of the tap started failing and had to be replaced)

Even replacing the tap is pretty simple 95% of the time, like most plumbing jobs it's pretty easy if you have the tools (and it's worth buying them if need be, as they will save you a fortune - they often pay for themselves with the first use).
