Hi,

hopefully getting my ipod soon and already bought a tape adapter thing. Just tried the tape adapter and basically it tries side A then B and then says error and ejects itself. :(

tried same tape in mates car and works fine, anything i can try to make it work ?

don't think it's worth the cost of getting it repaired. Otherwise will need to get an FM transmitter thing instead.

Yes. You have blank detect turned on on your unit (or similar). This would detect large white space on a normal cassette and cause it to turn over automatically.

Look through your manual for something like this.

Thanks, will have a look at the manual tonight :)

hopefully it's that easy, not too hopefully as there are virtually no settings for the tape drive.

Cant you get something that connects to the car radio wirelessly and plays your ipod songs through your car stereos radio?. If you cant get the tape thing to work you could try that as a last resort.
