Do you know what? I miss all the old T threads...

I'm a complete willy woofter around spidlers but I loved those threads; found them absolutely fascinating. And they helped make me a bit calmer around spidlers too.

So - show us what oyu've got!

Any new ones? Little ones? Big ones?

Pretty ones, ugly ones, ones with massive teeth?

Any with a peg leg and many an anecdote about sailing thar seven seas, yarrh?

I absolutely hate spiders. Anything larger than an inch sends me scuppering.

However, tarantulas aren't that scary becayse they're so slow and lumbering. What I don't like about most spiders is their unpredictability and speed.
 
What happened to that colossal spidey thread that Lopez used to post on? There were some terrifying things in thar...
 
Got 3 spiderlings right now, all about 1 cm living in pots on top of my pc. A pair of Chile rose tarantulas and another which i'm not too sure about. All i know is it's small black and seems a little defensive.

Arachnophobia is exactly that - a phobia - an irrational fear. Those with phobias don't have to understand why they're scared to be scared.
 
I'm also scared silly by spiders but agree about the tarantulalallalaa ness, they seem more hairy and cuddly than scary :)

There is always that lingering throught though that it's all a trick, and any minute they're gonna accelerate to warp and discolve your insides yo.
 
spiders dont really bother me that much to be honest. I wouldn't say that i an sacred of them or anything. However, my girlfriend quite likes spiders and has mentioned looking into keeping one as a pet before. She always seems to befriend those big garden spiders and lets them run around her hand!

You could just look on Arachnoboards or Arachnophiles forums, plenty of pics on there.

Dont fancy keeping one penski? Never handled any of mine apart from tiny ones, that second one in my pics is very aggressive lol
 
I don't like spiders generally but quite like tarantulas. I think it's because they're bigger and I know they won't be poisonous. I got to hold one once but I thought it was quite boring - much prefer frogs!

Infact does anyone remember the Camel Spider epidemic that went round the forums? :D
