!The Tarzan actor Joe Lara along with his wife and Christian diet guru Gwen S Lara are among the seven people who are presumed to have died in a plane crash in Tennessee.

Joe Lara had played the title role of Tarzan in the television series Tarzan: The Epic Adventures, in the 1990s.!

Oh right.

We should just have an RIP thread for lesser known people. Save the individual threads for the big celebs like Prince Philip or Robin Williams level.
 
The point is why do people create threads for these “actors” when hundreds of people die every day and they dont get threads. Shall we just choose a random name from the councils obituary pages and post a rip thread for it every day from now on?

That'll only ever be in your opinion and then they'll be rows about it. I'd vote for one RIP thread but it doesn't bother me the occasional RIP thread.

This 100%.

I mean to say I agree with the emphasis on your post, not to post a random persons death everyday.

But if in a way I'd almost prefer that to some tenuous celebrity.
 
I don’t really get the issue. The persons name is always in the title. If you don’t know or have no interest in said deceased person, just ignore the thread. Why is it such an issue for you.

You can’t have the forum tailored to your exact individual wishes. 90%+ of the threads on here are of no interest to me, doesn’t mean I moan about them being posted.

The reason these threads exist is because the person is known to multiple people. It gives people, who want to, a chance to share any memories.

What is the point in choosing a random name when nobody has memories of that person?

If you don't know this person then why post on the thread? Why even click it?
 
Personally, I find an RIP thread a lot more acceptable than yet another “What a bad man Boris” is or “Let’s quibble pointlessly for the umpteenth time about something to do with racism” thread.

I'm pretty sure that a random person i pick from the obituary has memories by someone unless they lived in a hole all their lives Your post makes no sense.

As @BUDFORCE said above, hes gona take a pic of his morning turd and create a thread about it. You will have no right to complain about it being there
