Task bar remains hidden after gaming.

As the title says the task bar remains below the monitor when I have finished gaming. I know it is there as the top half of the double arrow appears and I can right click below the monitor bezel.

This is a very fresh install of Windows 7 64bit and fully updated as are all drivers.

Any suggestions?

I wasn't aware the task bar moved at all when gaming, do yo have auto-hide on?
