I restored this pc back to Win7 from Win10 due to many issues, mostly with display drivers, and the issues have been resolved....however...I tried to setup Windows Backup and got this error:

After a bit of googling I found the cause to be Task Scheduler and when I open up Task Scheduler I get approximately 25 of the following error messages:

Can anyone help with suggestions on how to fix this, or is a reinstall of the os needed?

Thanks

Fixed ! I got through another dozen links on google and found this to be a common issue when downgrading from Win10 to Win7 and with nothing much to lose I downloaded and ran the following software, it backed up my current tasks then repaired the issues:

In future take your own backup using Macrium Reflect.

I never fully trust Windows upgrade/downgrades, there are too many variables unknown to Microsoft.

If you do decide on a clean install, no harm in taking a Win 7 System Image Backup too before you install and do the Macrium one.
I usually stage it, take an image of a base install activated with drivers, it's basic enough to fit onto one DVD, then take another with updates / apps installed.
At least now you know your Windows 10 upgrade / activation has been registered with Microsoft.
