Taskbar that I cant shut down!

When I control alt delete to get my task bar up to get rid of anoying programes on my ladies comp (xp service pack 2) i cant get rid of the task bar because it doesnt have a close option. anyone know how i retrieve the close option?

Taskbar means the Start Bar.

Unless you mean something else....

You mean task manager?

Double click the border.

i assume you mean the task manager itself has lost it's title bar/menus? if so just double click on one of the edges to bring it back.

edit: ah ffs. not the first time today this has happened.
