I was also exclaiming my surprise that a fairly expensive product, without DRM, does not have a thriving third party market to fulfil an obvious gap in the market.

I agree the profit margins must be astronomical but first world problems such waiting for the kettle to boil need to be addressed![]()
Try having filter coffee; much nicer and faster.
Why not just make your own coffee instead of paying over the odds for these pods? Profit margin on them must be like 3000%
