The answer to my first question is probably self-explanatory but I'm hoping I'm wrong about both:

Is it a breech of copyright to reproduce an image in the form of a tattoo?
I'd say yes but would love to be proved wrong.

Will tattooists reproduce copyright images in the form of a tattoo?
I'd say no but again would love to be proved wrong.

Many thanks in advance :)

Nope i dont think so unless the artist has copyrighted the image, one artist that has done such a thing is Angel who has a large back piece of angel wings that even have a tiny copyright symbol

They're not allowed to advertise copyrighted images as flash by law but they can tattoo what they please, so you can ask for whatever you want.

Think about it - how many Tasmanian Devils, Tweety Pie's, Sylvesters, Winnie The Poohs do you see?

Well I live in Essex so the answer is lots!
