This just popped up on my feed.

Woman held captive in cyber/VR house.

Looks interesting, but imdb doesn't think so at 5.7

Anyone watched yet?

Netflix has had some dubious choices recently when it comes to sci-fi films, such as; The Titan, Cloverfield Paradox, Mute. To me, this looks like another one.

It's done well with Sci TV series though, the Expanse, Star Trek and Lost in Space...

Indeed. I'm just talking about their sci-fi films.

I'm baffled how they have good sci-fi TV shows, but when it comes to films, at least those mentioned, they don't seem to know what is good and what isn't.

Watched this last night, was ok i suppose.

Bit stupid how the computer geek pretty much tells her what she needs to know to get the ai doubting his orders. He says something like controlling the flow of information.

20 minutes in and I gave up.

Is it just paint by numbers cliché after cliché? Or I there something new here?

I watched this the other night, it’s not bad and worth a watch to pass 90mins or so. Fairly early on it’s pretty obvious where the film is heading. If it was a cinema release I wouldn’t have bothered but on Netflix it’s probably at home.

Seems to be the case for a lot of Netflix stuff lately - I guess catering for an increasingly younger generation who've never seen some of the real great movies :s which doesn't inspire me for Lucifer now they've taken it on :(

I've been close to cancelling my subscription several times I dunno how much longer it will be.
