Oddball one this - basically I did the usual thing today and got myself a nice shiny alloy tax disc holder, the same one as I've had in quite a few of my cars - but anyway - the problem I have now is that the curvature and slope of the windscreen means it doesn't really fit, or stick properly at the correct points and won't.
Consequently it's fallen off (d'oh!) onto the dash, which I suspected it would do.........however, where it's fallen (bottom corner) is easily legible, in plain sight and not difficult to spot at all.
Would there be any problem fixing it there instead? At that point it's only about an inch from the screen itself anyway.
Oddly enough about 30 yards down the road I walked into a Renault that had a similar setup....
I recall the legislation is 'fitted in clear view on the bottom corner of the driver's windshield' or such?
Any input appreciated, just to put my mind at rest....
