TCP/IP error

Hi

I just reinstalled XP Pro on a new machine and when I'm trying to authenticate windows or install my Linksys router software I get a message asking me to check the TCP/IP settings (communication error) - even though I can access the internet?

Any ideas?

I use a Linksys WAG54GX2 and have DHCP enabled. I've tried to alter the TCP/IP settings but I'm not sure of what I'm doing.

Linksys router software

Are you using Wireless with security? (WEP, WPA etc)

If not then are you sure your router has DHCP set up? All physical connections ok?
