Been hunting for one of these for a while this morning, but just when i think ive found one i discover that it 'does not work in 64-bit Windows Vista, where Microsoft forces all drivers to be signed and certified'

Then i found this: bcdedit /set loadoptions DDISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS

But i still cant find one that works, anyone know where i can find one?

Cheers

I mainly wanted to see if it helps with some streaming problems ive been having.

Ahh bugger... i have SP1 installed :( I'll give it a go anyway.

Cheers

it's not compatible with sp1...
Yes i see ;) Gave it a go last night and the only way i can see that a 64bit sp1 hack is going to work is if the the hacked file is digitally signed!

I tried bypassing the driver signing thing with the option in the F8 menu and got a NETIO.sys blue screen about trying to write to the ROM :(
I then installed VistaBootPro and tried disabling the Vista Driver signing from the advanced menu expecting to get a blue screen but it didn't do anything

No worries though, ill just use Vista32 for now :p

i think they've increased the limit in 64sp1 anyway

my torrents have been running at over 400kb/s anyway

Vista limit is supposed to be 25

I found a way to disable the driver signing in Vista 64 and it seems to be working in SP1 :p Unfortunately i cannot test the tcp patch as it seems to be the patch itself which is causing the Netio.sys bsod

First copy bcdedit.exe from System32 folder to SysWOW64 folder
Then install this: ReadyDriverPlus

It adds another option to the the bootloader automating the F8 option and Disabling Driver Signing
