TDU Problem - Mate not showing up?

Hi guys,

Me and a mate decided to play TDU again recently, however when I try to go to him on the map, he just doesn't show up. On the world map it says he's there, but if I drive to him it doesn't actually show up.

He has the same problem when trying to get to me aswell.

How do you fix this?

We are playing on the same connection.

Its to do with you and him are on different servers. IIRC its something like 10 people to a different section of the server.

Me and my friends had the same issue when it first came out. He did show up in the same place after a while. Try re-connecting again.

That problem seems to always come up, having to reconnect and reconnect to find your friends. I think IIRC you can lock him so that he stays with you and you wont lose him for that session but have to do the same thing everytime.

How do you use this 'locking' feature?

There's a menu you can open up on the left that lists all the players in your session. When you are both on the same session, one of you selects the other player and chooses lock. IIRC the other person has to accept quickly otherwise the requesting person gets isolated
