TDU2 wont play ball :(

I bought TDU2 in the Steam sale. However I can't get it to work at all. It wont even start. Pointless!

Anyway. Here's the message I see. I tried posting in the TDU2 forums. However they were less than helpful.



Just to add. All other games play fine. My internet is also fine. No idea why it's moaning about NAT.

You won't get much help on the TDU2 forums, the last time I visited there it was full of trolls and whiners.

Have you tried making the game an exception in your anti-virus/firewall. Could be something along those lines which is stopping it from updating. Or try disabling your anti-virus/firewall altogether.

That's all I can think of unless they've released an update previously which broke the updater. Oh no, I'm one of them.

I found out the hard way. I didn't even bother responding to the stupid answers I received.

Thanks for your reply. I should have mentioned. I checked the firewall (I only use the windows one) It's all fine.

It was only a few quid and I'm in no desperate rush for it. So might wait a day or two then email support. I doubt they will respond.

Have you tried at different times? To be honest that looks like the Authentication servers are down as the update news cannot be displayed either.

EDIT: Just loaded mine fine, so it isn't the servers -.-

I played yesterday (bought it on release) - it updated some files and launched ok, gameworks perfectly...must be some stupid problem.
