I thought I would post it in here instead of in GD.

Im bored of usual crap t-bags these days. I drink about 6 mugs of tea a day so would like to try something different.

What would you recommend? Either loose tea leaves or bags. Flavoured or not.

Would be nice for a change!

Great website to look around!

Seems to get a bit expensive with a couple of samplers and postage on top of that though.

Would you recommend loose tea over bags?

For a fairly 'normal' tea I've always enjoyed the loose Yorkshire Tea leaves brewed nice and strong in a pot. As far as off the shelf supermarket tea goes, its good.

I'm the son of a builder mind, so don't understand any of this floral flavoured tea malarkey :D

aye.. its no cheap thats for sure.

For me its far easier to get the tea bags as i bring em to work, tho i have some of the peppermint in loose form at home and its amazing.

It is worth it tho, easily the best tea i've had, and occasionally you can find discount codes.

For something a bit different how about Tick Tock Redbush tea?

Me and the wife started drinking it a while back and we prefer it now over the standard kind.

I thought it was a good pack to try as it still worked out at 18p per cup, I couldn't justify spending £1.20 per cup on some samples.

Although If I enjoy these packs I might source a teapot and some loose tea!

Thread revival!! I was recommended Tick Tock tea by a relative and bought some the other day. Very refreshing with a slight smoky flavour. Also it's naturally caffeine free and supposed to be very high in antioxidants which can't be a bad thing.

Rooibos?

Lovely stuff! I have a breakfast tea in the morning then drink that red bush for the rest of the day, feel much more refreshed, and I find it doesn't need any sugar, which I cannot have plain tea without.
