Hi guys, as title says i have a Teac Ag-790 amp. At the moment its connected to my speakers (http://www.pure-acoustics.com/design/english/html/dream_76f.htm) those, and i have my computer, and my ps3/tv as inputs.

Sometimes, not that often the amp will change its own volume (either down a lot, or up a lot (which can give you a bit of a fright if it suddenly turns up really high)), and its pretty annoying, happens about once a week or so?.

I was just wondernig if anybody knew what might cause this, is it a common fault, or is it my fault?

thanks tom.

I'm considering buying this Receiver because it is bi-wirable and is 100wpc RMS so would be more suitable to driving my speakers which are the same handling rating than my current NADC320BEE - how do you find the amp? The loudness could be a result of having the loudness compensation function enabled perhaps? I read an "audioreview" review of it by one user who said not to use this function as it's erratic at times!
