so people who have their own websites/company, basically im setting up a website to sell some stuff, and i have no idea how to incorporate the billing part of the site, i have found a link http://bigcartel.com/ but theyre paypal based, and i was wondering if anyone knows how to get say Mastercard, Visa, Mastero etc instead of using paypal, as i rather would want to use Mastercard of Visa instead for payment options, and also most importantly secure for users and for the site itself.

thanks in advance!

I am in the same boat as you. I'm working on getting my site up and running and have learned how to do everything except this part. I found

http://msconline.maconstate.edu/tutorials/ASPNET20/default.htm

it which tells you how to hook up your site to Paypal and its pretty detailed. On a side note I have also discovered how to use Verified by VISA and Mastercard SecureCode. There is an opensource piece of code which does this for you but I can't for the life of me remember the name of it.

hi, thanks for the link Rehan, i will have a look at it.

im looking for something thats easy to incorporate into my site, and being able to customise it without too much hassle, i have looked at Protx, which they do all the transfering of money and authenticating the sale etc, but am still a bit confused on the subject atm, i know theres plenty of different ways of doing it, but want to find a way thats userfriendly if you get what i mean?

if your willing to pay for a billing system then you could consider Foxycart. incorperate it to basicly any site you want and customize it with ease. but you will have to pay for there service but its one great service provided.

tbs,

Did you get anything sorted regarding implementing a shopping cart that uses Mastercard or VISA etc?

I've been asked to develop an online store so I'm interested in what you have gone for.
