Hi there,
I have a WinXP laptop and a new, shiny 3G mobile phone with connection which allows me to download 25MBytes of data a month. My question is: how can I setup my laptop (Outlook, in particular) to automatically detect when it's connected to the Internet over my phone and throttle-back on its internet use?
In particular, can I teach Outlook to only download email headers from my POP3 server when I'm connected via my phone? The problem seems to be that Outlook can't distinguish between my mobile phone and my wifi broadband connection.
Many thanks,
Jack
