Team fortress 2 and validating

Is anyone else getting this? lately i'll go to play the game and get the message its validating files, after validating ti appears to dload a patch of some sort. It will then go to ready , when i try and launch the game it loops into validating and dloading again. Tried to do the validate thing myself but this time it just keeps revalidating..like its stuck in some loop.

No, and I was playing it a fair bit last night. Got cut off the usual five times or so (I blame BT) but no validating

Is this in Steam or when you're in TF2?

You could try deleting the clientregistry.blob file. It'll be in your SteamApps\Username folder.

Then launch steam again.
