maybe i missed it but it didnt say anything about grenades for any class (i.e. the nail bomb or pyro grenade :D)

It definitely didnt say that conc grenades aren't included so there is still hope!!

(unless i missed it...)
 
:O i hope thats not true! I loved running round the corner to see a nail bomb spring into the air. This was usually promptly followed by me filling my pants and frantically trying to run back.

Also the conc grenades were great at recreating the feeling of playing after 20 pints, i really hope they havent got rid of them!

yeah i think it will be interesting now the spy doesnt blow his cover when he shoots. Perhaps spys will become too popular and everyone will be them... then eventually youll have 1 team on one side of the map pretending to be the other team whilst they are on your side of the map pretending to be you! :confused: :confused:
 
ahaha! The spy this time round sounds absolutly spot on! You can now fire and actually look like your firing the weapon of your chosen class. So now the enemy are going to find it very hard to spot a good spy!

I cant wait for this to land now ;)
 
This game was always best for clan matches. Very tactical with Engineer placements and defensive positions.

It's always been easy to know where you were sniped from in TFC. It is not exactly a stealth game. There are usually two choices of position.... up on the ramparts or down on the ground (fro pretty much every map).
It will encourage rubbish snipers to not camp as well. Though it rarely used to happen anyway.

The thing about the grenades is old news, though again it was a case of them not talking about grenades rather than them specifically not being in the game. I guess we will have to wait and see. I'm not too fussed about them either way to be honest. The game might well play better without. If it doesn't, we will have mods with them in popping up sooner or later.
 
I can not bloody wait for this game its been a long time coming and as long as its as goold as TFC use to be ill be over the moon! It looks fantastic too I am loving the character models, when is this due to hit shops?

October/November time. Damn delays due to the console ports. Why can't they just release it on the PC when it is finished and then sort the ports out afterwards. Come on Valve, please your core market first damn it!

EDIT: Aww, can the medics no longer give the enemy team the plague? That was always ace when some dopey sap decided to run into the spawn to heal himself.
 
Eeee, I'm like a kid at Christmas! Just come across this on youtube, I thought it had been cancelled!

In my defence it was one of the first games I had played and I WANTED HEALTH.
The shame still hangs over me to this day.
 
tfc engineer grenade > all

really hope they don't remove the grenades, i've read somewhere that you can't prime a grenade + fire at the same time :/
 
Mega TF for quake beat the heck out of all the TF games...the scout had a jetpack and you could electrocute people in the water...I miss that game.
