Just noticed this had a big price reduction and ordered 2 lots of 2x16Gb, judging by the specs it will run rings around my Corsair LPX vengeance. Heres to hours of running MemTest and overclocking fun and games, should be here Monday.

Wanted this RAM myself, but at the time it was full price so got the Ballistix instead.

There is nothing wrong with the Ballistix, it runs great and by all accounts overclocks well, but would have preferred the 8Pack RAM. (looks better :p)

Hope they clock well. :)

I paid for next day on a Friday, so was expecting it Monday. Had email this morning from DPD saying it would be delivered today, which is Saturday, saved myself a few quid there.

If it performs as well as others say, it's an absolute steal at £150 for 32GB, there is nothing that even comes close at this price.

I got mine for £200 a long time ago and I think it was dicsounted then, at £150 it's an incredible bargain.

I've been really happy with mine, it's been rock solid and super fast.

been running 2 set of the 16gb 3600mhz cl14 ram with my 5950x getting on 2 years, the ram clocks are set at 3733mhz with the stock cl14 timmings flck clock is 1866 so i maintain a 1:1 with the cpu, performace is brutal to say the least, have gone in and tweaked a few secondary timmings in the bios to give the ram that little bit more performance.

overall its some of the best ddr4 i've ever owned and if your up for tweaking it you'll be rewarded :)

Spent all yesterday and most of today trying to overclock the RAM, I had one occasion where my Asrock X299 showed all four sticks at 3733mHz, I guess that is one of the downsides of quad channel memory. Had to resort to going for tighter timing and am now reasonably happy with 3600@14-14-14-32 tRFC is 400.

Are there any other timings that I can look at to tighten it all up a little more?

your primary timings are very agressive tbh, changing any others in the bios will lead to instability or no post, i run mine at the out of box cl14,15,15,15,35 and trc is set to 55 vs stock of mid 80's, command rate is set to T1 but i managed to get them to 3733mhz, if i try anything more my stystem refuses to post, if i took out a set and just ran 2 sticks i may be able to push more but i'd loose 16gb, for me thats too low, gaming at 4k with a few tabs open i can see around 14-15gb usage, hence i use 4 sticks 32gb total.

i altered my tRFC and tFRC (alt) to 325 and 313 from stock which was close to 600+ any lower and above my system refuses to post

Your post proved very useful, thought I would dial in tRFC at 325 and blow me down with a feather duster, it works!

I have 2 packs of 8 pack 3200 CL14 that runs in dual channel quite happily but it's still not as fast as my dual rank 32gig CL16 Samsung D die.

I now also run a 2 DIMM slot ITX board so that 8 Pack ram is just sitting in a drawer.

Still running my 2 x 16GB kit (3600C16) @3800 C14.
Also still on motherboard BIOS ComboAM4PIV2 1.2.0.3b when AGESA ComboAm4v2PI 1.2.0.7 is now out. Dont think i'll bother updating as all is working well

How many volts you putting into that?
BIOS is set to 1.4900V which is reported in Zentimings.
BIOS also reads 'DDR Voltage' 1.520V

I've had it set for over a year now and it passed Anta 777 extreme, RunMemTest-Pro-v2.5 and a 24 hour run of Karhu. Prior to these tests / settings I was testing other settings and voltages.
I've not touched the settings for some time thought now.
I did try some Corsair Dominator platinum RGB (£214) 3600/C14 to see if I could get 4000C14. Nope, no chance. It wasnt any better than this so returned it. Even 3600C14 (XMP) didnt pass tests so it went straight back

mmm fair play. maybe i'm overvolting mine at 1.48 for 3600 C14? may drop it a little and see what happens

Are you, maybe?
I would think 3600C14 requires a bit less than 1.48V. Then again, at 1.49 mine doesnt get super hot even under stress testing. Errors will occur before it starts getting hot to touch

It seems a lot of it is down to the motherboard, just got an Asus ROG Strix x299-E Gaming II to replace my Asrock X299 Professional Gaming I9, my memory now hits 4000mHz 16-16-16-38 at 1.4V, have hardly touched any settings it just seemed to drop into place. Am too tired to play around with tightening up the timings, will give it a shot in the morning.
