Hi, I am running this memory, Team Group Night Hawk RGB 32GB (2x16GB) DDR4 PC4-25600C16 3200MHz Dual Channel, in a new build using a Asus ROG Strix X390-F motherboard. The memory is advertised as being able to use XMP-2 however when I enable that setting within the bios the system gets very flaky and locks up even in the bios setting screen. Do I need to apply XMP-2 or will auto be sufficient and run the memory at its correct speed or am I doing something wrong?
Cheers everyone...

Ok it seems that my replacement cpu was damaged when it came loose from the packaging whilst it was being transported, looked like it had been used as a football. OC have agreed to replace so hopefully all is well and good and thanks goes out to them for dealing with this smoothly...

Well this became more interesting, build the PC up using the replacement CPU and all was well and good. It ran fine over two days using video conferencing, software, prime95 and other stress tests were passed ok.
Set the bios to use XMP-2 and I immediately was getting the ran into problem screen after logging in, even had it when booting to a win10 installation USB stick.
Reverted the bios setting to default and still had the bsod. It was completely unstable again. So downloaded mem86 and sure enough, when testing both modules, it produced hundreds of errors. Took one module out, tested and hundreds of errors. Took that one out and tested the other module, no errors. PC booted fine and ran properly.

OC have sent me an rma and are replacing the two modules. Again cannot fault the response as it is second to none.

Good job I have a backup base unit so I can continue to use remote access and teams to continue to support all the staff within the three schools I work for.

Replacement memory received from OC yesterday, ran Memtest for four runs at XMP-2 and passed ok. PC running nicely :-)
