The 5800K only officially supports up to 1866MHz. Can you run it stable at 2133MHz? What voltage are you using? If it's 1.5v, try 1.65v.

Well you might still get it to run at 2400MHz if you up the voltage a bit. A lot of people have no problems running it at that speed.

2133MHz isn't bad though :)

I don't think it will make much difference since this is a media pc with light gaming compatibilities :D

Currently running 2133mhz 1.65v

Surprised you can't get 2400 working.

But look at it this way...you paid only £65 for that RAM which was the same as 2133 at the time, its also now £10 more expensive.

I only played with the Turbo, and ram default profiles e.g. Normal, quick, expert. Didn't work but 2133mhz is not that bad. I never really overclocked the Ram...

What i would do is try setting it at the highest stable speed with the default settings (which i think is 2133MHz for you), then overclock the APU and mainly stick to pumping up the bus speed rather than multiplier. Add CPU voltage to get the CPU stable and if your RAM brings up errors, add NB voltage like stulid said.

If you OC your RAM using an overall overclock, you'l likely get a much higher stable value in the end (although its a bit time consuming. Definitely worth getting the perfect clock on these APUs!

The CPU voltage is 1.4v stock

How much should I set it up? +0.050v? 0.100v?
