Anyone had this issue? Literally just started today and affects all games when team speak is running. Audio starts crackling and I even start getting graphics stutter.

Any ideas?

Sound like you having DPC issue. Install latencymon and see if you can find the issue.

So it seems to be dsgkrnl.sys. Might have to start a thread in the windows forum to sort this out because I can't find anything on google with regards to fixing this particular issue.

Tbh I wasn't expecting that driver.

Nope, me neither. I was hoping it would be an audio driver or something. I can play world of tanks fine, but pretty much any other game redlines the latencymon readout. I wonder if it's related to the 290s I installed this week? Everything was fine until yesterday though. Screw it, I'm due for a system wipe (3 years!) so it's getting done.

Yeah do full wipe and we go from there.

Yeah sure, but interestingly enough, removing one of my 290s seems to have resolved the issue. Just need to work out how I can have both cards in and get it working.

Perhaps the fact that 290s use the pci lanes for xfire instead of bridges is causing the latency issues?

Does it still happen if you disable crossfire but have both cards in the system?

What motherboard do you have and are you using onboard audio or a sound card?

Nope, just in xfire. and it's onboard audio (can't fit my xonar DG because the cards cover the pci slot it needs).

Weirdly enough, it only occurs with vsync on. Seems to be a fairly common issue from my googling.

E: have started a thread in Graphics cards as it isn't directly pc gaming related
