Only meaningful thread I could find related to a business alternative. Teamviewer thinks I am using it for commercial uses which obviously I am not, as we have our own internal system. Any suggestions that don't require an install/have a portable version?

Have used AeroAdmin a few times with no issues.

Thanks, had to go with this in the end as Anydesk didn't play well with multiple instances of my log in at work (profiles). When I connected to another work computer, it looked like that effect of a reflection in a reflection :p

OK, not quite as hunky dory as I initially thought. It's acting a little weird. I can't change the size of the window, hovering over any of the buttons at the top doesn't say what they do, I can't right click on a taskbar icon (open program). Anydesk seemed perfect but it really can't handle me been logged on the same profile which is odd as TV was fine with this (full install on one PC and portable on the other).

Going to try Ultraviewer :)

Edit - this going to be one of those days/tasks. No luck with Ultraviewer, the exe seems to be the same for the standard and portable so I can't open it (don't have admin access on one computer).

Edit - think I have managed to trick Anydesk into acting as two different clients on my profile so should be all sorted. Thank you for all your suggestions :).

Why is it whenever IT promise wonders with the next upgrade, there are always caveats.

We had to upgrade to W10 at work and several people are reluctant because it will inevitably cause programs with some of their apps. I jumped ship first and now have no way of remote desktop. I have tried the Chrome extension, W10 remote desktop to no avail. Despite AnyDesk and TeamViewer been portable apps, some more aggressive feature of W10 doesn't allow opening an exes.

Any suggestions?

Bumpety bump. I have lost count how many times Teamviewer think I am using their software for commercial purposes, been flagged again and they have gimped my usage. Almost all of my usage is simply to connect to my HTPC which doesn't have a keyboard or mouse :p and sits next to the living room PC.

I remember trying AnyDesk but it didn't let me control the PC on my phone and seemed a lot more flaky than TV. Any suggestions that are both on W10 and Android?
