Teamviewer file transfers - monitoring question

I work in an IT department but don't have much to do with networking. I use Logmein on a daily basis, constantly connected to my home machine - nobody has picked up on this. File transfer is not available on the free version.

Yesterday I installed Teamviewer and connected with my home machine and when testing it noticed that drag and drop file transfer is possible. I transferred about 10mb of various personal files I had on my desktop.

Now I am paranoid that this will get picked up on in the monthly security meeting. We use Websense and Lumension End Point Security (which I think just covers removable devices). Even though Teamviewer is encrypted from client to client and obviously works with our current set up, I am wondering what they might be able to see or report on.

Any ideas?

I'm sure they'd only see traffic and nothing else.

I have been trying to sort out using LogMeIn or Teamviewer to access about 25 pc/laptops in my business and not sure which one to go for. I've sent files to and from all the time and nobody in IT has flagged anything up. Although it's work related files so i can't say on personal stuff

They will just see traffic, but they will be able to determine which machine its coming from. If you are wanting to transfer files, why not use google drive? Its free and can be accessed from anywhere.

I would recommend teamviewer for that sort of thing.

Been using it for over a year now and never had any issues with it.
