I've been using Teamviewer for a while without much issue, but lately it's started knocking out my LAN connection when I try to connect via iPad. I end up having to go to the PC and pull the LAN cable out to get the network connection to reset.

Anyone have any experience of this?

That sounds very very weird, Teamviewer should be no different to any other network traffic, perhaps the powerline adapters are crashing or something?

Not quite the same, but I do have issues using teamviewer at uni sometimes, which while fast, is quite a high ping connection. Can really gum it up for any other traffic from my machine. I think whilst not too bandwidth heavy, a high ping connection really disagrees with teamviewer.

Well, it hadn't done it for days but after a reboot it's did it again this morning.

God knows how I could debug/troubleshoot this. I had to pull the ethernet connection and plug it back in, and it reconnected instantly.

If it happens while I'm away from home I suppose I'll have lost contact until someone can reset it again. Not ideal at all.

I noticed this machine lose its net connection today, and I wasn't using Teamviewer at the time. Rather than pull out the LAN cable, I just left it and it got its connection back after a couple of minutes.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how I could troubleshoot this?
