He pointed out that his demonstration cloak is very tiny - just a few thousandths of a millimetre across.

they wont make your completly invisibly anyway at best you would get a wierd looking outline of a person where the light is beeing bent

The thing is, with an invisibility cloak that can bend light around an object anything inside would see darkness so it wouldn't be much use.
We see things by light falling into out eyes and if this doesn't happen then we wouldn't be able to see out.
