I posted this question in another thread, but due to the title of the thread and that it exists in Photography sub-forum I don't think many people who might know about this will see it.

I'm looking to get Hybrio batteries and am trying to decide which charger to buy.

I was going to go for the Technoline BL-700 as it seems to be a very capable charger and comes recommended by many. It costs £27.99 with no batteries.

I then read that the Uniross Easy Battery Charger is a good entry level charger and costs only £12.99 and comes with 4 AA 2100mAh Hybrio batteries. All in almost half the price when adding batteries to the BL-700

So, my question is this, does the BL-700 significantly improve the life and performance of batteries enough to warrant the extra cost?
And also is the Uniross charger likely to damage batteries, as it only has an integrated safety timer with auto cut-off, rather than detecting when the battery is full as the BL-700 does.

Finally, a question about mAh, would 2500 last significantly over 2100 batteries?
