Behind you... Naked!
My mate is a bit of a wheeler dealer ( all legit but he is an idiot ).

He has texted me today saying he has got hold of a tecra M4

Its got a swivel screen and can be used as a tablet PC or a Laptop.

I asked to have a play but it was just about midnight and he was installing it, but he did run home to get it, and so I only had a play with Windows XP only just plonked onto it with no drivers... It seemed ok, but it only has 1GB an 80GB HD and the CPU is a Single core Pentium M 2Ghz

I instantly gave him another 1GB to help matters, but as I said, no drivers etc showed me nothing and he had to shoot off.

What would this be worth? Are they any cop? The resolution on it is pretty good to be honest, even with XPs own drivers, it went up to 1400x1050 and thats fine for a small 15" screen and the condition I have to be honest, is nearly mint.

I am wondering if its worth me bothering with it, or is it just a fancy pile of rubbish?

Fancy pile of rubbish. The battery is probably close to dead due to old age. A Celeron G1610 (a current bottom range Intel chip) is 4-5 times more powerful than the 2GHz Pentium-M. Limited amount of RAM. Etc. etc. etc. If you could put a £30 SSD in it (that you already have), then it might be usable, assuming it is capable of running Windows 7 or 8, but certainly not worth spending any money on.
