Teeth Whitening Toothpaste

I find that whitening toothpaste has no real effect, if you want whiter teeth, either get it done by your dentist or use whitening strips.

I have a thread on here, about crest 3D whitening strips.

Best product on the market, and seemed to work fairly well for me.

Could do with another pack mind.

Porcelain veneers are the best way to get them done. Not cheap by any means, but safer than any of those bleaching kits and lasts for years. My father had them done, smokes twenty a day and his teeth are never anything but ivory.

Not a big fan of all that stuff myself though. I prefer my teeth to look a bit more natural, rather than I just walked off a Hollywood set. As long as you don't have cavities, plaque or gum disease, I don't see the problem. ;)

I've tried the Crest whitening strips but they hurt my teeth big-time.

Looking at the regular toothpaste options. There is Rembrandt in various offerings and also Blanx is a new product I see out there now. I just can't trust the amazon reviews for these products because half of them sound like they are written by the same person i.e. employee of Rembrandt!

Give Eucryl a go. It's a powder rather than a paste and it's pretty good. You should only use it about 2 times a week, though.

No difference noted using Aquafresh whitening toothpaste (canned one) but I carry on using it because I keep thinking maybe my teeth would get bad if I went back to regular toothpaste.

Ill tell you what i use once a month (if needed) Baking soda. I swear to god its the most amazing stein remover ever! I used to brush every day and evening with arm and hammer baking soda tooth paste -_- with little increase is whitening. I used actual baking soda from the supermarket and they instantly became clean! It is abrasive so your gums may be a tiny bit sore on the first time using) This isnt to be used more than once a month tho :( I only use it if ive missed a lot of brushing/feel my teeth arnt looking that white) Google it for more info its amazing! :)

I drink a lot of coffee and though my teeth aren't bad, they're not as white as they used to be. My other half said I should get some of this, so I went looking for it. It comes in two versions - normal and extra (for smokers, coffee people), so I got the stronger one. Does it work? Does it ******** :mad:. Complete waste of money in my opinion. I've got through virtually an entire tube now, and I can't see any difference at all.

It worked for my sister - her dentist even commented. Not at all for me.

Where do you guys get your crest white strips from and how much do they usually cost?

Crest 3D White Luxe Supreme Flexfit. I have a website for my country. Try to find for yours.
In my country, they sell for ~45 euros.

Well, I need to up this thread.

I have already used:

Sensodyne ProNamel Multi-Action;
Sensodyne Repair&Protect;
Blend-a-Med 3D White Luxe with Pearl;
Blend-a-Med 3D White Luxe Perfection;
Blend-a-Med Pro-Expert Clinic Line Enamel Regeneration;
Colgate Max White Expert White;

and now I have 2 new Crest 3DWhite Brillliance.

All of these are relatively cheap.
I see there are some others which are two-three-four times more expensive and should be able to give better results.

I have seen the ingredients on the boxes and all toothpastes are basically the same. Maybe slight deviation in the proportions.

Next I will use the strips but they are quite considerably more expensive.
