How do you enjoy yourself ?

You don't need it, just makes you care less, lightens you up a bit.

A few years ago I gave up drinking, which led to me not bothering going out anymore, which then led to me not bothering with my friends much. Now I have no friends. Other than the people I work with.

The same as if I were drinking, having a laugh, catching up with mates and so on. You don't need to be drunk to enjoy yourself, if you do you have a problem.

I am not talking about being drunk off your head.

I don't know if this is a **** example :

If you invite a vegetarian to barbecue which is associated with meat etc.

They are going to feel uncomfortable, considering everyone is enjoying them selfs.

So the vegetarian is going to have a **** time because everyone around them is eating meat.

Big difference between drinking on social occasions.

These people are claiming to not drink full stop.

Some people drink but only maybe 3 times a month. I am not talking about losing your identity and your teeth every weekend with massive debts and hangovers.

Do you find it hard to believe people that they don't drink at all? Their nights out go exactly the same as yours do, just without the drinks, that's the only difference.

It means he is dissapointed at your apparent attitude that if you dont drink, you cant have a good time. I mean just look at your post, you basically assumed that anyone who didnt drink alcohol was some sort of retard who was unable to go on a normal night out and instead had to do something different.

I mean just LOOK at that statement! How do you enjoy yourself? Same way you do if you drink! You go for evenings out with friends

Some people actually go out to meet new people/friends.

Ie freshers, clubs etc

People keep going on about their current friends that are already adjusted to their habits and lifestyle.
