Tekken 5:DR Online ???

Last I heard it was 8th November. I'm sure I read elsewhere that Namco had brought it back from November to late October but I guess that was a lie.

Usually when they release video trailers of things the actual game arrives the following week or the week after, so fingers crossed it will be Thursday when it arrives, that'd be nice :)

They make me wait much longer, I am gonna delete my UK copy, and buy Tekken 5 DR again with online from the USA store.

Edit: Is this the official "I used to whoop all my mates at Tekken so fancy my chances online" thread. If so let me join!!!

I splashed out on a Hori RAP3 from the japanese site, should be arriving tomorrow with a bit of luck.
Not that it will do me any good still get my arse whooped :)
I was getting seriously bad blisters from playing with the joypad.

Picture? Link? Details?

I need one that will work for PS2 (through PS3 BC as well, until then I can't really splash out on getting the old tekken games and SF games from PS2 days).

I see, although there seems to be some caveats, (read the thread) which makes me think it is not "officially" supported for PS2 games.

For me, whilst I want to play newer beat-em ups for PS3 (Tekken 5:DR, Tekken 6, SF4, SSF2:HD Remix), There is a wealth of PS2/PS1 versions I would love to play, and I sold my ps1 & ps2 so am out of luck for now.

I have faith, a product will come along that supports both.

Just finished modding it m8, changed out the stock Hori buttons for some Blue Sanwa ones, replaced Joystick head to match buttons
Also changed out the Square gate on the Sanwa joystick for an 8 way octagona one.
Filled in the last 2 buttons with some Sanwa button plugs.
Much better now :)

News on this from euro gamer
Sony Europe has said it will sprinkle Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection Online onto the PlayStation Network tomorrow.

This, you may remember - like falling off a swing - adds an online versus mode, online rankings, a practice mode and a survival mode.
It will cost you GBP 14.99 if you buy it all in one, but if you listen to our Dickensian (as in David, not Charles) advice you could make a saving.
Buy the original Dark Resurrection PSN title for GBP 6.99 and add the Online Component for GBP 3.49 and you keep four-and-a-half quid to spend on an expensive pint of Belgian beer or flowers if you are Pat.
To enjoy this amazing bargain, however, you will need to buy the original Dark Resurrection game right now as in today, because come tomorrow it will be gone.

Note the last bit, if you have not got the original T5DR from the store you wont be able to get it on its own after today. Adding the online bit for £3.50 seems a bargain to me though.
