i haven't seen any gameplay footage of it but going by the screenshot it looks appaling, soul calibre on dreamcast beats that !

PMSL I hope they did not use the phrase "Demonstrating our New Cutting Edge Graphics" When discussing this game. That could easily be a PS2 game...

Wait a min PS3 is Backwards compatable right? Well if you don't know how to code for the PS3 you could always code for the PS2. I wonder how many release titles on the PS3 will simply be PS2 games in a PS3 case.

It looks worse than a Dreamcast or PS2 game so I find it hard to believe the final game will look that bad Common sense suggests otherwise.

I don't think it's going to look that bad, but I'd say that the screenshot is probably just a bad angle and general bad shot, not showing off how good the game looks. It is a low resolution screenshot, with a bit of loss in quality.

Saying that, it's one of the few believable PS3 shots so far I've seen with regards to it's not going to be that amazingly different to the 360 at the start. It's got jaggies though saying that, if Heavenly Sword can pull off that amount of detail and run good, why doesn't a simple 1v1 game like Tekken have such good visuals... my guess, it's miles from finished.

Heavenly Sword looks like it could be a killer doesn't it - read the interview with the developers in Edge yesterday.
