this game is a steal at £6 i must say its the only thing sony have done right with their online system, anyone else enjoying it as much as me, i think it will be put up to £20 after 1 month so grab it whilst its cheap, plus namco will make the game online multiplayer if enough people buy it, sounds like a win win situation for everyone, i hope more games for under a tenner come out like this

This game is amazing. The last Tekken I played was Tekken 4 and I love this newest version even more. Just need to learn some more of the combos, and figure out which joystick to buy. Get some practice in Ghost Mode which is quite hard.

I am currently "4th Dan".
Anyone done better?

Think its something like $20 on the US store so probably about £15 here so half price at the mo. Like you said its great fun and a £7 its a bargain I need a 2nd controller though !

same here i cant wait for a 2nd controller my whole family has loved the tekken series, pity theres no bowling mini game in this because that also kicked ass

only on the us store hasnt been put on uk one, are any of the other games a good deal gripshift looks good but that space invaders type looks like i would only play it for 2 mins then never even look at it again

I find the ranking a bit strange to get 8th i had to beat a 3rd to get 7 i had to beat a 6th what ever they are! Seen the controller for £27 delivered at the moment think its the best so far (havent looked that much though)

its the gamerscore feature of xbox live and no theres not anything similar to it on the ps3 and i doubt there ever will be, its a good console but not worth it if your an online player like i am, sony will be introducing home soon but its completely useless in my opinion but ill have to wait until its released, sony better make their online gaming better or i wont be buying their next console

your in kyu still, basically you have to go from 9th kyu down to 1 kyu then you can become 1st dan which is level 1 black belt then you have to go back up the way, 2nd dan is 2 times black belt, you just have to beat someone ranked higher than you to rank up and you cant lose, when you use a continue the rank promotion is lost so be careful in rank up matches

Ahh good now i know makes more sense to me now!
On your other post about gamer score if sony had done or do this wouldnt certain people just scream about Sony stealing ideas from other companies etc?

Downloaded this yesterday, well worth £6.99. Am I right in thinking it's essentially the arcade version as it is a little lite on game modes?

I don't really get why you can't see the names of the fighters and have the option to name them yourself, it's a little confusing when you've not played the last few versions as I haven't.

I also noticed that this is $20 on the american PS store so for once we're getting a decent deal.

Snap, the way the fighters dont have the names makes me not able to recognise quite a few of them. Especially as some of them have such similar movesets as others.

if you select a fighter by mistake how do you de-select them? ive tried all sorts but not been able to de-select once selected, this game obviously has stuff missing in it do you wonder if namco will release said stuff in an update and expect us to pay another £6 for it?

If you pick the wrong fighter I think you are stuck. Normally on the home versions Circle (I think) un-selects, but on this one it doesnt.

A quick way to go to main menu is press start+select together.

I doubt they will bring out content fo this as it is just an upscaled ps2 game really. Just to keep us quiet until Tekken 6 comes out.

its actually an upscaled psp game and there are rumours that namco are supposed to update it if enough people buy it

just found out you can setup a us account and a jap account to get access to more games and at american prices they can be used on any account after downloaded
