With the exception of Glamorgan Telecom, does anyone have suggestions for a decent telecoms provider in or around Cardiff?

Really need someone to look after our telephone system. Its a splicecom setup and it just doesn't cut it. The support is okish, but they are 4 hours away, so any issues that require enginee intervention have to wait that long. This to me is unacceptable, so need some recommendations to change to a more local company.

Unless it's a hardware failure, programming changes should be a remote task so engineer distance shouldn't be a big issue (assuming it's not failing on a weekly basis!).

I work for a telecoms company - we only do Avaya IP Office so can't specifically help with the splicecom, but distance should not be an issue. We are based in Waterloo but have customers all over the world as 95% of support is remote anyway.

There is a telecoms company near you who could probably help called Pinnacle . I only know of them because the company I work for is also called Pinnacle and we often get calls from their customers asking us for help :)

Thanks for that, I seem to remember the name pinnacle, perhaps from a previous contract. I've also experience with Avaya back in the definity days when it came with a terminal and orange writing on a black screen.... Ahh memories. :D
