Telephone Extension

I'm fitting a second telephone socket as a spur from my filtered master socket.

Would I need a filtered extension socket, as I can only seem to find filtered masters?
If so, will a second master faceplate work?
Will an old faceplate with an external filter cause any slowdown if the master is filtered?

I've seen some master sockets that filter spurs if wired correctly...don't know how you'd check though to be honest. I personally would get a filtered extension socket rather than have a filter hanging off, but that's my personal preference! Double filtered shouldn't make a difference as far as I can see
