All the interviews I've had in my life have been face to face.

I have my first telephone interview on Thursday morning. This can have its pro's and cons:

Pros:
- Don't have to travel to the interview.
- You'll be more comfortable answering questions in your own home.
- You can have notes ready on the coffee table whilst you answer questions.

Cons
- The interviewer can't read your body language so will not be able to guage in depth if you are really passionate about the position.
- Telephone connections can cut off.
- Doesn't seem as real as a face to face interview.

So OcUK, can you give me any tips on answering questions in telephone interviews?
So far I've had:
- Be concise and to the point.
- Don't talk fast, don't talk slow. Talk clearly.
- Don't talk with a monotone voice. Express words which carry more emphasis.

Ta. :)

So far the questions I have prepared are:

1. What are the most important skills for the job?

2. What are the company’s long and short term goals in engineering?

3. What kind of challenges might I face in the engineering scheme?

4. When would I hear from you regarding the outcome of my application?

Trying to think of a 5th and final question.

Does anybody see any problems with the questions I'm asking?
