Telephone Socket Help?

Hello,

I have just had a customer ask me to put a new main socket from downstairs to upstairs in there house normal bt socket so i can have 2 phone sockets with 2 microfilters on them so she can have fax/phone upstairs and just phone downstairs ( upstairs is where the router is )

How doi do this? what stuff do i need? i do networks for people with network cable but never done a phone socket before where do i start from and so on? any help or sites for help would be brilliant

Wont be a new main socket, will be an extension off the original, those sites are pretty useful in terms of wiring it up.
