There was a thread on GD last year about the new DWARF 3. It's a telescope but smart i.e. it has flash storage for taking photos which can then be offloaded onto a computer. Presumably it can be controlled by a phone app as well. Would have cost a few hundred £££. The OP had one on pre-order and I'm interested in how they got on with it and/or if anyone else have got one.

DWARF 3 Smart Telescope
Anybody ordered one of these? Pre Ordered mine yesterday and it seems very good for the price. Fancied doing some DSO Photography for a long time but was put off with the high cost. Love how portable this is and it will be great to take in the Campervan. I’m hoping it will be a step from the...

2nd hand pair of binoculars and thats probably about it anything else is something you might buy in a toy shop
We all thought it.
I know nothing about these but there’s plenty of first telescope videos on Youtube, I’d try there to get an idea.

Personally I'd save a little more £250 mark and pick up a second hand dobsonian telescope.
