Tell me about fan controllers

My motherboard (an Asus P5K SE) only has 3 fan controllers: power, cpu and chassis. Is there any way to add more fan controllers without replacing my motherboard? I.E. would a fan controller drive bay do the trick?
 
Adding a bay means you can use a 4 pin molex to power to power a number of fans which are then plugged directly into the controller.

I use a scythe controller and I can control 4 fans with it. I believe there is a Zalman which can control 6.

that would be fine or you can get fans with integral controllers if you want less clutter in ya case
