Sorry fell asleep there.

A 57 focus estate "style", so not sure if it's passes over onto the face lift.

That's if anything is to be told?!

It's 1.6 auto, 13500miles, for £5000 from the local Arnold Clark. It's for the parents.

Also to add me onto the insurance (23y/o sp30, 5years with license) add an extra £350! Any ideas why? This is through admiral where I recon I could insure the car in my own name for the £600 they quoted me!

No, the Style was a Sport with no alloys but with TCS.

Includes the same equipment as Sport, plus
Steel wheels
Traction control *

There are so many Focus around there is no point buying from the lower end of the range. Go for a Zetec or a Ghia.

Well this focus defo had alloys. =/

It's parents decision. We've spent basically all of today looking, and they've looked elsewhere previously, the curtosey car is gone by friday so they really do need something.
Will have a quick gander on autotrader, they don't want private either even though I've explained to them about the benefits of more car and less money.

Parents went ahead and got it.

Turns out the car even had leccy wing mirrors. Don't know what was standard at the time but also a fairly advance computer for various average speeds, fuel etc (can cycle through them) Also audio remote.

It looks like the only thing you've really missed out on over the Zetec is the heated windscreen and the "comfort" suspension IIRC.

Possibly, and maybe rear leccy windows but that's not a biggy.

Ooooh my thought as a passenger, seat was too small! It was too short and felt too narrow and couldn't get comfy. And I am average 5ft 10, 32inch waist and a bit of an overhang belly (from beer and cakes) to give an idea of size and porportions. Also didn't feel much support for my back.

I think I could have convinved my dad to take an year two older car/more milage and get a proper luxary version of an everyday car. Ala vectra (groan, again) or a mondeo.

are you sure they are alloys?

the new focus's have very good designed wheel trims that look like flat 5 spoke alloys... my uncle got fooled in the same way until I pointed them out....

You sure they're not like this?

Aye that's more like them!....they not alloys then?

They were defo more than just stick on covers! :P

need to get me sorted for a car, would love an st220, but I think all costs I couldn't afford one.

the steel wheel is designed in a way that its made for that wheel trim

go give it a pull or tap it, definatly will flex/be plastic :P

Well the old car had the covers, and they constantly fell off, new ones bought never put on and it's just a ****** state. Makes the car look **** poor and uncared for, neglectic etc.
Also it was me that said they were, but also sure the garage list of them also said they were included.
