I'm looking for an UW to replace my 32" 165hz 1440p MSI screen.
im not a monitor buff and tbf dont understand 90% of sales poo.

ive been looking at 34" uw screen in my budge and there all 1440p 100hz. then i noticed this and it got the wow factor for a monitor moron(me)

Why should i not buy this and what should i but instead or is this a goos screen and should i snap it up.

If you really want the 40" over 34" then go for it.

its not about 40 or 34, its just i have been looking and 34's then i noticed this and thought wow..

34uw is like a wide 27
so i thought a 40 would be like a wide 32??

ive never seen a 40, thats what im saying and for the price it right in the mid price for 34's, so im thinking there is a reason

check some video reviews of it first, and see what they say about it before committing.

it just very cheap you know, and that for me normally is a red flag.
the only other 40"UW is £1200

I was just about to post this.

I went from a 34" 3440x1440 (100Hz) screen to a 38" 3840x1600 (175Hz) screen and although not a massive jump that extra vertical screen space is much welcome. Makes me want to jump to 4k at greater than 38" but that might just be too big.

This is why I looked at the 40 as a 34 is just a wider 27 so I thought it would feel to small on the vertical.

I’ll look up a few 38”

I wanted a 1440 uw or I’m also thinking standard 4k.
